Drinking turmeric tea is a great way to get the amazing health benefits of turmeric. The good news is that making turmeric tea is easy. Here’s a basic turmeric tea recipe that will get you on the road to better health. Drink it as a preventative or when you’re feeling sick or run down to reduce inflammation and bacteria in the body.
4 cups water
1 tablespoon ground turmeric
Bring the water to a rolling boil then reduce heat and add turmeric. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Strain the concoction into a cup or bowl using a cheesecloth or mesh strainer.
Add honey or lemon to taste.
